Weekly giveaway
Read during September and you’re in the draw.
Every week in September, one dad who checks in via email wins a $100 voucher – their pick of Bunnings, the LEGO Online Store, or Booktopia. Four weeks, four winners, and every check-in is a fresh entry.
Three simple steps.
No reading logs. Just you, your kid, and a book.
1
Sign Up
Tell us you’re in. Takes less than a minute, and it’s completely free.
2
Read to Your Kids
Any book, any night. Little and often beats big and rare – consistency is the whole point.
3
One-Click Check In
Each week, tap “I read this week.” That one tap is your entry into that week’s prize draw.
Why this matters
95% of mums read to their kids. Only 67% of dads do.
The Dads Reading Challenge is a small, deliberate nudge to help close the gap – one story at a time.

Five simple guidelines.
The whole challenge in a nutshell – so you know exactly what you’re saying yes to.
1
You choose the book
Picture book, chapter book, comic, graphic novel, footy annual – whatever gets you both reading. If your kid loves it, it’s the right one.
2
Consistency beats everything
Ten minutes most nights does far more than an hour once a fortnight – pick the nights you’re going to read and stick to it. The goal is a habit that outlasts September.
3
A prize announced every week
Each week you check in, you’re in the draw for a $100 Bunnings, LEGO Online Store or Booktopia voucher (winners choice). Winners drawn and announced weekly.
5
What counts as reading? Pretty much everything.
Any kid’s age, any format. Reading together, or listening to an audiobook side by side – all good. The same book for the hundredth time absolutely counts.
